Department for Institutional Project Support

This department participates in the preparation, design, and implementation of significant projects funded by the European Union Structural Funds (EU SF) in the field of information and communication technologies. The projects mainly focus on computing technology, data center technologies, video and IP communications, high-speed computer networks, wireless technologies, and multimedia.

• INFRA I – Development of infrastructure and modernization of ICT at the Technical University of Košice to improve conditions and enhance the quality of education;
• INFRA II – Improving the quality of education at the Technical University of Košice through infrastructure development and ICT modernization;
• INFRA III – Development of infrastructure and modernization of TU Košice equipment aimed at improving educational process conditions;
• INFRA IV – Enhancing conditions and quality of education at TUKE by renewing and expanding facilities and modernizing ICT;
• INFRA V – Improving educational process conditions at TUKE by expanding facilities and modernizing infrastructure;
• UCITT – University Center for Innovation, Technology Transfer, and Intellectual Property Protection;
• VUKONZE – Research center for the efficiency of integrating combined renewable energy systems;
• Slovak Infrastructure for High-Performance Computing (SIVVP);
• KC ZATIPS – Competence Center for Knowledge Technologies for Innovations in Production Systems in Industry and Services;
• University Science Park TECHNICOM for innovative applications supported by knowledge technologies, phases I and II;
• Research on the SANET network and opportunities for its further use and development;
• Development of governance and the level of information and cybersecurity in the subsector.
